Our Eagle Ford operations consist of the Victoria Express Pipeline (VEX) and related truck terminal and storage assets, as well as crude and condensate marketing.

EnLink Midstream has a strategic partnership with Howard Energy to pursue opportunities in the Eagle Ford. Howard has about 500 miles of pipeline, approximately 145 MMcf/d of amine/treating capacity, and more than 9,000 horsepower of compression. Howard owns and operates a 200 MMcf/d cryogenic processing plant in Webb County, a 10,000 bpd stabilizer in Love Oak County, and a 220,000 bpd storage terminal near Brownsville. Additionally, Howard owns more than 100 miles of natural gas gathering pipeline in Pennsylvania.

Transportation

~56-mile, multi-grade crude oil VEX pipeline with a capacity of ~90,000 bpd

Trucking and Storage Capabilities
  • VEX Port of Victoria: ~8-bay truck unloading terminal, 200,000 barrels of above-ground storage, and rights to barge-loading docks at the Port of Victoria
  • VEX Cuero: ~8-bay truck-unloading terminal and 200,000 barrels of above-ground storage 
Gulf Coast Fractionator

38.75 percent economic interest in the Gulf Coast Fractionator located in Mont Belvieu, Texas, which has a capacity of approximately 145 million bpd

Under Construction - Howard Energy and the Nueva Era Pipeline

Howard Energy recently announced plans to develop the Nueva Era Pipeline, an approximately 200-mile, 30-inch natural gas pipeline connecting its existing Webb County Hub in Webb County, Texas, to Escobedo, Nuevo Leon, Mexico, and the Mexican National Pipeline System in Monterrey.

Expected to be in-service in July 2017, the Nueva Era Pipeline, which will be developed in conjunction with HEP’s Mexican Partner, will provide seamless transportation service for up to 600 MMcf/d of natural gas from South Texas to Escobedo, Nuevo Leon, near Monterrey.
